Beware of the Curse of the Oppressed

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) warned Mu'adh to be careful and mindful of the curse of the oppressed as there is no barrier between their invocation and Allah.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for justice in order for our prayers/invocations to reach Allah without any obstruction.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a warning from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to Mu’adh, who was sent on a mission to Yemen. The Prophet ﷺ warned him to be careful and mindful of the curse of those who are oppressed, as there is no barrier between their invocation and Allah. This means that when an oppressed person invokes or prays for something, it will reach Allah directly without any hindrance or obstruction. Therefore, it is important for us all to be aware that oppression should not take place in any form whatsoever because we do not want our prayers or invocations being hindered by our own wrongdoings towards others. We must strive for justice in order for our prayers to reach Allah without any obstruction.
