QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness and compassion towards family members regardless of their beliefs or actions.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the special care and attention that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed to his beloved uncle, Hamzah. After he was killed in battle and disfigured, the Prophet offered a special prayer for him that he did not offer for any other martyr. This shows us how much love and respect the Prophet had for his family members, even though they were not Muslims at first. It also teaches us to show kindness and compassion towards our own family members regardless of their beliefs or actions.
