Prayer for Healing and Immigration

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed for the healing of Sa'd and his successful immigration.

Narrated 'Aishah daughter of Sa'd: That her father said: I had a complaint at Mecca. The Messenger of Allah came to pay a sick-visit to me. He put his hand on my forehead, wiped my chest and belly, and then said: O Allah! heal up Sa'd and complete his immigration.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُعَيْدُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهَا، قَالَ اشْتَكَيْتُ بِمَكَّةَ فَجَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ يَعُودُنِي وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِي ثُمَّ مَسَحَ صَدْرِي وَبَطْنِي ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْدًا وَأَتْمِمْ لَهُ هِجْرَتَهُ

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) prayer for the healing of Sa'd and his successful immigration. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) visited Sa'd when he was ill, put his hand on his forehead, wiped his chest and belly, then prayed to Allah to heal him up and complete his immigration. This hadith teaches us that we should always pray for those who are in need, especially when they are ill or going through a difficult time. It also shows us that even if we cannot physically help someone in need, our prayers can still be powerful enough to help them out. We should never underestimate the power of prayer!
