QUICK LESSONS:
Treat people of other faiths with respect and fairness

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Islamic practice of levying tithes or zakat. The Prophet Muhammad was asked if it was permissible to levy tithe on Muslims, and he replied that it should only be levied on Jews and Christians. This hadith teaches us that Muslims should not have to pay a tithe or zakat as this is an obligation only for non-Muslims. It also teaches us that we should treat people of other faiths with respect and fairness, even though they may not share our beliefs. We can learn from this hadith that we should strive for justice in all aspects of life, regardless of religious differences.
