Respect for elders/religious leaders , Remembering important information/instructions given by them , Acting upon those instructions in life accordingly .

This hadith speaks about three instructions given by the Prophet. Two of these instructions are known; to expel polytheists from Arabia and reward deputations as he did. However, it is unclear what the third instruction was due to conflicting accounts from Ibn 'Abbas and Al Humaidi on the authority of Sufyan and Sulaiman. It is possible that either Said mentioned it but both forgot or he himself did not mention it at all. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to remember any important information given by our elders or religious leaders so that we can act upon them in our lives accordingly.
