QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest and faithful when appointed to a position of power or authority

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the importance of being honest and faithful when it comes to taking up an administrative post. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that if someone is appointed to a position and given an allowance, anything taken beyond that allowance would be considered as unfaithful dealing. This means that one should not take advantage of their position or authority by taking more than what they are entitled to. It teaches us the importance of being honest and trustworthy even when we are in positions of power or authority. We should always remember that our actions will be judged by Allah SWT, so it is important for us to remain honest and faithful at all times.
