Inheritance Rights of Manumitted Slaves

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade selling or giving away the right to inheritance of a manumitted slave.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah forbade selling or giving away the right to inheritance by a manumitted slave.
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، رضى الله عنهما قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلاَءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rights of manumitted slaves in regards to inheritance.
