Inheritance Rights of Children

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) assigned the estate of a child to its mother and her heirs after her.

Narrated Makhul: The Messenger of Allah assigned the estate of a child of a woman about whom she had invoked a curse to her mother, and to her heirs after her.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَكْحُولٌ، قَالَ جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مِيرَاثَ ابْنِ الْمُلاَعِنَةِ لأُمِّهِ وَلِوَرَثَتِهَا مِنْ بَعْدِهَا
