This hadith speaks about the importance of giving charity on behalf of a deceased person. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked by a woman if it would suffice to give sadaqah on her mother's behalf and he said yes. This shows that even after death, good deeds can still be done in order to benefit the deceased and bring them closer to Allah.
