QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for life , Compassion towards animals , Humane treatment of animals even after death
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that when we slaughter an animal, we must make sure that the animal is completely dead before cutting it up. This means that if any part of the animal is cut off while it is still alive, then the entire animal will be considered dead and not permissible to eat. This hadith teaches us to be mindful and careful when slaughtering animals for food so as to ensure that they are killed in a humane way. It also reminds us of our responsibility towards animals and how we should treat them with respect even after death.
