QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous and kind even when you are in need or have limited resources .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about how one can pay for something with an animal, specifically, a lamb. It was narrated by Asim b. Kulaib on the authority of his father and it was said by Mujashi' who belonged to Banu Sulaim and was one of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In this hadith, it is mentioned that if there is scarcity in goats then one can give a lamb as full payment instead for something which would normally require an adult animal as payment. This teaches us to be generous and kind even when we are in need or have limited resources because Allah will reward us greatly if we do so out of kindness and generosity rather than out of obligation or necessity.
