SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) would express his gratitude to Allah by prostrating himself whenever something pleased him.

Narrated AbuBakrah: When anything came to the Prophet which caused pleasure (or, by which he was made glad), he prostrated himself in gratitude to Allah.

QUICK LESSONS:
Expressing gratitude to Allah whenever something pleases you
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of expressing gratitude to Allah for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. Whenever something pleased the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he would show his appreciation and thankfulness by prostrating himself in prayer. This is a reminder for us that we should always be thankful and appreciative of all that we have been given, no matter how small it may seem. We should also remember that our blessings come from Allah alone, and so we must always express our gratitude towards Him.
