Respectful Obedience & Avoiding Wastefulness

SUMMARY: This hadith teaches us to be respectful and obedient to our mothers, not to bury our daughters alive, pay the rights of others, and not beg of men. It also warns us against vain talk, asking too many questions in religious matters, and wasting wealth.

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba: The Prophet said, "Allah has forbidden for you, I to be undutiful to your mothers, II to bury your daughters alive, III to not to pay the rights of the others (eg charity, etc) and IV to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you I vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, II to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and III to waste the wealth (by extravagance).

QUICK LESSONS:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about respecting our mothers and being obedient to them. We should never think about burying our daughters alive as this is a major sin according to Islam. We should also pay the rights of others such as charity or zakah when we are able to do so. Additionally, we should never beg from people for money or anything else as this is also forbidden by Allah SWT. The Prophet Muhammad SAW has warned us against talking too much about other people's affairs or engaging in useless conversations that don't benefit anyone. He has also advised us against asking too many questions regarding religious matters that can lead to disputes between people instead of bringing them closer together. Lastly, he has warned us against wasting wealth through extravagance which can lead one away from the path of righteousness and piety towards Allah SWT .
