Allah's Pleasure for Those Who Strive for Good

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that Allah is pleased with those who strive to do good deeds, even if they have done wrong in the past.

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah as saying "Our Lord Most High is charmed with people who will be led to Paradise in chains".
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ لَقَدْ عَجِبَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُقَادُونَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ فِي السَّلاَسِلِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that Allah is pleased with those who strive to do good deeds and follow the right path even if they have done wrong in the past. It reminds us of the importance of striving to do good and not giving up on our faith despite any mistakes we may have made. The hadith also encourages us to never lose hope in Allah's mercy and forgiveness as He will reward those who are sincere in their repentance.
