Be kind and compassionate towards all living creatures; Respect life; Do not harm any creature unnecessarily or without cause; Return what you take from others if possible; Do not punish with fire except by permission from Allah SWT .

This hadith is about the importance of being kind and compassionate to all living creatures, no matter how small. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was on a journey with his companions when they saw a bird with her two young ones. They captured the young ones, but the bird came and spread its wings in distress. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked who had grieved this bird for its young ones and told them to return them back to it. He also saw an ant village that his companions had burnt and asked who had done it. He said that it was not proper to punish with fire except by the Lord of fire, teaching us that we should not harm any living creature unnecessarily or without cause. This teaches us that we should be kind and compassionate towards all living creatures, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem.
