The Consequences of Taking Money

SUMMARY: Taking money from people with the intention of repaying it will be rewarded by Allah, while taking it to spoil it will result in Allah spoiling the person.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever takes the money of the people with the intention of repaying it, Allah will repay it on his behalf, and whoever takes it in order to spoil it, then Allah will spoil him".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the consequences of taking money from people. It teaches us that if we take money with an intention to repay it, then Allah will reward us for our good intentions and repay the debt on our behalf. However, if we take money with an intention to spoil or misuse it, then Allah will punish us and spoil our lives instead. This hadith encourages us to think twice before taking any kind of loan or debt as we should always have a sincere intention behind every action that we do. We should also remember that whatever good deeds we do in this world, they are all recorded by Allah and He rewards those who are honest and sincere in their intentions.
