Obey Allah's commands and stay away from disobeying Him .

This hadith is about the consequences of not going forth. Ibn 'Abbas was asked about the verse in the Quran which states "Unless you go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty." He replied that this punishment was that the rain stopped from them. This hadith teaches us that if we do not obey Allah's commands, then we will face consequences and punishments.
