EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the laughter of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when he saw Umm Sulaim Al Rumaisa washing her head. He laughed, and when she asked him why, he replied with a beautiful saying that is recorded in other hadiths as well. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to laugh in Islam, as long as it does not lead to any sin or harm another person's feelings. It also shows us how kind and gentle the Prophet ﷺ was towards his companions, even when they were doing something mundane like washing their hair! We can learn from this that we should always be kind to those around us no matter what they are doing or saying.
