QUICK LESSONS:
Politely inform hosts if you're invited for a meal while fasting

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the etiquette of being invited to a meal when one is fasting. It teaches us that if we are invited to a meal while we are fasting, we should politely inform the host that we are currently observing our fast. This shows respect for the host and their invitation as well as respect for our own fast. We can also use this opportunity to remind ourselves of why we have chosen to observe this fast in the first place, which is usually out of devotion and obedience towards Allah SWT.

This hadith also teaches us about politeness and good manners when it comes to invitations from others. We should always be courteous when accepting or declining an invitation, even if it means informing them that you cannot attend due to other commitments such as observing your fasts during Ramadan or any other time throughout the year.
