Fasting During the First Ten Days of Dhu al-Hijjah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not fast during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.

'Aishah said: I never saw the Messenger of Allah fasting during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَائِمًا الْعَشْرَ قَطُّ
