EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin, tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a special fondness for fasting during the month of Sha’ban. He would often combine it with fasting during the month of Ramadan. This teaches us that we should strive to increase our acts of worship throughout the year and not just limit them to certain times or occasions. We should also take advantage of any opportunity we have to do good deeds as this will bring us closer to Allah SWT. Additionally, this hadith encourages us to be consistent in our worship so that we can reap its rewards both in this life and hereafter.
