Eating Before Dawn

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised people not to rush their meals before dawn and wait until the whiteness of the horizon spreads out horizontally.

Addressing (the people) Samurah b. Jundub reported the Messenger of Allah as saying: The adhan (call to prayer) of Bilal should not prevent you from taking a meal shortly before dawn, not does the whiteness of horizon (before dawn) in this way (vertically) until it spreads out horizontally.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about eating before dawn, which is a time when Muslims are encouraged to pray and reflect on their faith. The Prophet Muhammad advised people not to rush their meals before dawn and wait until the whiteness of the horizon spreads out horizontally. This means that one should take their time in eating, as it is important to be mindful of one's actions during this special time. Additionally, this hadith teaches us that we should be patient and take our time in doing things, even if it may seem inconvenient or difficult at first. We should also remember that Allah knows best what is best for us, so we must trust His judgement even if it does not make sense at first glance.
