This hadith is about a Bedouin who came from al-Harrah and testified that he had sighted the moon. He was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) who asked him if he believed in Allah and that He was His messenger. After confirming his faith, he commanded Bilal to announce to the people that they should offer tarawih prayer and keep fast for Ramadan. This shows us how important it is for us as Muslims to have faith in Allah and His messenger, as well as following their commands even when we are unsure of something. It also teaches us how important it is for us as Muslims to follow religious practices such as offering prayers during Ramadan or fasting during this holy month. We should always strive towards fulfilling our religious obligations with sincerity and dedication so that we can reap its rewards both in this world and hereafter.
