Bad Manners When Leaving the House

SUMMARY: Fathimah had bad manners when leaving the house.

Sulaimah bin Yasar said about leaving the house by Fathimah "That was due to her bad manners".
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، فِي خُرُوجِ فَاطِمَةَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ سُوءِ الْخُلُقِ

This hadith is about a woman named Fathimah who was known for her bad manners when leaving her home. It is narrated by Sulaimah bin Yasar that she was known for this behavior. The hadith teaches us that it is important to maintain good etiquette and manners, even when we are departing from our homes. We should always be mindful of how we act and speak, as it reflects on our character and can have an impact on those around us. We should strive to be respectful and courteous in all situations, no matter where we are or who we are with.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that good manners bring blessings from Allah SWT, while bad manners bring punishment from Him SWT. He ﷺ said “Whoever has good manners will have his reward with Allah” [Sunan Ibn Majah]. Therefore, it is important to practice good etiquette in all aspects of life so that we can receive the rewards promised by Allah SWT for doing so.
