QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for peace & understanding between yourself & your spouse/partner

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's example of taking back a divorced spouse. It is narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab that the Prophet had divorced his wife Hafsah but later took her back in marriage. This shows us that reconciliation and forgiveness are important values to uphold in relationships and marriages. Even if two people have gone through a divorce, it is possible for them to reconcile and come together again if both parties are willing to forgive each other and work on their relationship. This hadith also teaches us that we should not give up on our relationships easily; instead we should strive for peace and understanding between ourselves and our spouses or partners.
