The Importance of Not Withholding Superfluous Water

SUMMARY: It is important to not withhold superfluous water, as it will prevent people from grazing their cattle.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "Do not withhold the superfluous water, for that will prevent people from grazing their cattle".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do not withhold the superfluous water so that people can graze their cattle.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of not withholding superfluous water. Superfluous water is any extra or surplus water that is available and can be used for other purposes such as grazing cattle. By withholding this extra water, people are prevented from using it to graze their cattle, which can have a negative impact on them and their livelihoods. This hadith teaches us the importance of being generous with our resources and not hoarding them for ourselves but rather sharing them with others who may need them more than we do. It also encourages us to think about how our actions may affect those around us in a negative way if we are too selfish or greedy with what we have been given.
