Respect in Marriage

SUMMARY: A husband and wife should be respectful to each other and not let anger come between them.

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet as saying "When a man calls his wife to come to his bed and she refuses and does not come to him and he spends the night angry, the angels curse her till the morning".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of respect in marriage. It teaches us that a husband and wife should treat each other with respect even when they disagree. The hadith states that if a man calls his wife to come to his bed but she refuses and he spends the night angry, then the angels will curse her until morning. This shows us how important it is for spouses to remain respectful towards one another even when they are upset or disagreeing on something. It also teaches us that we should try our best not to let anger get in the way of our relationships with others, especially those closest to us like our spouse or family members.
