EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to visit three important masaajids, namely the Sacred Mosque of Makkah, the Prophet’s Mosque of Madinah and Al Aqsa Mosque of Jerusalem. These three mosques are considered holy places for Muslims as they have a special significance. The first is the Sacred Mosque which is located in Makkah and it is where Muslims perform their pilgrimage or Haj every year. The second is the Prophet’s mosque which was built by Muhammad himself and it is located in Madinah where he lived after migrating from Makkah. Lastly, there is Al Aqsa mosque which was built by Caliph Umar ibn Khattab when he conquered Jerusalem during his caliphate period. Visiting these mosques has great rewards for believers as they can gain spiritual blessings from Allah through prayer and supplication at these holy places.
