Permission Granted for Staying in Mecca

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) gave permission to Al-'Abbas to stay in Mecca during the period of his stay at Mina for distributing water among the people.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Al-'Abbas sought permission from the Messenger of Allah to pass the night at Mecca during the period of his stay at Mina for distributing water among the people. He gave him permission.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ
