Entering and Exiting Makkah

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah from the upper end and exited from the lower end.

A’ishah said When the Prophet entered Makkah he entered from the side of the upper end and he came out from the side of the lower end.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ دَخَلَ مِنْ أَعْلاَهَا وَخَرَجَ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهَا

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Makkah from the upper side of the city and exited from the lower side. This hadith teaches us that when entering a place we should enter with respect and humility. We should also leave with respect and humility as well. It is important to remember that we should always be respectful in our actions no matter where we are or who we are interacting with. This hadith also shows us that it is important to be mindful of our surroundings when entering or exiting a place so as not to cause any disruption or harm to those around us.
