Exchange your goods with money rather than exchanging them with other goods .

This hadith is about the importance of avoiding usury. Usury is a type of transaction where one exchanges goods with other goods instead of exchanging them with money. In this hadith, Bilal was trying to give the Prophet (ﷺ) some dates as a gift but he was doing so by exchanging two inferior types of dates for one superior type. The Prophet (ﷺ) warned him against this and said that it was usury and advised him to sell the inferior dates for money and then buy the superior kind with that money instead. This hadith teaches us that we should avoid usurious transactions and exchange our goods for money instead in order to prevent any form of injustice or unfairness in our dealings.
