EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of obedience and supplication. The Prophet Muhammad was commanded by the angel Gabriel to order his companions to raise their voices in talbiyah. Talbiyah is a type of supplication that Muslims make during Hajj or Umrah pilgrimages when they enter into a state of consecration known as Ihram. It is an expression of submission and humility before Allah Almighty and it serves as an invitation for others to join them in this act of worship. By raising their voices while making this supplication, Muslims are reminded that they are partaking in a communal act of worship with other believers around them who are also making this same call for help from Allah Almighty. This hadith teaches us the importance of obedience and supplication, but also reminds us that we should not forget our communal obligations when engaging in acts of worship such as Hajj or Umrah pilgrimages.
