This hadith is about following the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAWS when sacrificing a camel. Ibn 'Umar was present at Minah and saw someone sacrificing their camel while it was sitting. He advised them to make it stand and tie its leg in order to follow the practice that Prophet Muhammad SAWS taught us. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to follow the sunnah of our beloved prophet in all aspects of our lives as this is what will bring us closer to Allah SWT and help us attain His pleasure. We should also take care not to neglect any aspect or detail that has been taught by him as even small details can have great significance in Islam.
