Sacrifice of Camels by the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sacrificed thirty camels with his own hand and commanded Ali ibn AbuTalib to sacrifice the rest.

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: When the Messenger of Allah sacrificed the camels, he sacrificed thirty of them with his own hand, and then commanded me (to sacrifice them), so I sacrificed the rest of them.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Allah's commands and be willing to put in extra effort for something you believe in.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib tells us about an event in which the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sacrificed thirty camels with his own hands, and then commanded Ali to sacrifice the rest. This hadith teaches us that it is important to follow Allah's commands, even if they are difficult or require a lot of effort. It also shows us that we should be willing to put in extra effort for something we believe in, as demonstrated by the Prophet's willingness to sacrifice so many camels himself. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about selflessness and humility; even though he was a prophet, he was still willing to do hard work like sacrificing animals himself instead of delegating it all out.
