This hadith explains that trading during the season of Hajj is permissible and was allowed by Allah. The narrator, Abdullah ibn Abbas, states that people used to trade in Mina, Arafat, and Dhul-Majaz before they became afraid to do so while wearing ihram. To reassure them, Allah sent down a verse which stated that it was no sin for them to seek the bounty of their Lord during the seasons of hajj. Ubayd ibn Umayr also mentioned that Ibn Abbas used to recite this verse in his codex. This hadith teaches us about the importance of following Islamic laws and regulations while also reminding us not to be afraid or anxious when seeking blessings from Allah during our pilgrimage.
