EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the rights that are due to camels. It was narrated by 'Ubaid bin ' Umair who said that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) what is due on camels. The Prophet replied that it should be given food and water when it is hungry or thirsty, allowed to graze in an open pasture when it needs to eat grass, and its udders should be lent for milking. This hadith teaches us that animals have rights too and we must take care of them just like we would take care of ourselves or other people. We must make sure they have enough food and water when they need it, let them roam freely in open pastures so they can get their nutrition from grasses if needed, and lend their udders for milking if necessary.
