QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous with your wealth and help those less fortunate than yourself whenever you can .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's generosity in giving a hundred camels as a blood-wit to an Ansari who was killed at Khaibar. A blood-wit is known as qisas in Arabic, which is when someone pays money or goods to another person or family due to causing harm or death of another person, usually through accident or negligence. In this case, the Prophet Muhammad gave one hundred camels from among the sadaqah, which means charity given by Muslims out of their own free will and not obligatory on them according to Islamic law. This hadith shows us how generous and kind the Prophet Muhammad was towards his people even when it wasn't required of him; he still chose to give out charity from his own wealth in order to help those in need and show mercy towards them. It also teaches us that we should always be generous with our wealth and help those less fortunate than ourselves whenever we can, no matter what our religion may be.
