EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the number of surahs that were given to both the Prophet Muhammad and to Moses. It is said that the Prophet Muhammad was given seven long surahs, while only six were given to Moses. Furthermore, when he threw his tablets two of them were withdrawn and four remained. This hadith teaches us about how Allah gave different numbers of surahs to different prophets in order for them to spread His message in their own way. It also shows us how Allah can take away something from a person if they do not use it properly or if they misuse it in any way.
