EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin, speaks of the Prophet Muhammad's practice of prostrating himself when reciting the Quran. This is a form of worship known as sujood in Arabic. It is a way to show humility before Allah and thank Him for His power and might. By doing this, we are reminded that He is the Creator of all things and that He has given us our hearing and sight through His strength. This hadith teaches us to be grateful to Allah for all that He has blessed us with, even if it may seem small or insignificant. We should also strive to remember Him in our daily lives by engaging in acts of worship such as salat or dhikr.
