Pray at night as much as possible according to one's capacity; Utter salutation only in last Rak’ah; Observe witr with prayers; Recite verses from Quran during prayers; Submit oneself before Allah during prostration; Worship Allah through devotion & dedication .

This hadith is about the importance of praying at night. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas who spent a night with his maternal aunt Maimunah. The Prophet Muhammad asked if his nephew had prayed and then proceeded to pray seven or five rak'ahs, observing witr with them. A rak’ah is a unit of prayer that consists of standing up straight while reciting verses from the Quran followed by bowing down and prostrating on the ground in submission to Allah. Witr is an additional prayer that Muslims perform after Isha prayer which consists of an odd number of rak’ahs usually three or more. This hadith teaches us that it is important for Muslims to pray at night as it was something practiced by the Prophet himself and can bring us closer to Allah through our devotion and dedication in worshipping Him.
