QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly and consistently according to Islamic teachings .

EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith narrated by 'Aishah, wife of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), it is known that he used to pray 11 rak’ahs at night. A rak’ah is a unit of prayer and witr is an odd-numbered prayer which was observed with one rak’ah in this case. After completing the salatul layl or night prayer, he would lie down on his right side. This hadith shows us how important it was for the Prophet to observe his prayers regularly and how devoted he was towards them. It also teaches us that we should be consistent in our prayers and make sure we are fulfilling our religious obligations as Muslims.
