The Nightly Recitation of the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: Allah would wake up the Prophet Muhammad at night and he would finish his daily recitation of the Quran when dawn came.

Narrated 'Aishah: Allah, the Exalted, would awaken the Messenger of Allah at night. When the dawn came, he would his finish daily round of recital.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَيُوقِظُهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِاللَّيْلِ فَمَا يَجِيءُ السَّحَرُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ حِزْبِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aishah tells us that Allah, the Exalted, would awaken the Messenger of Allah at night. This shows us how devoted and dedicated he was to his faith and to worshipping God. He was so devoted that even in his sleep, he was still conscious of God's presence and wanted to make sure that he fulfilled all his duties as a messenger. When dawn came, he would finish his daily round of recital from the Quran which is a testament to how much time and effort he put into reading it every day. This hadith teaches us about dedication, devotion, and commitment towards our faith as well as reminding us about how important it is for us to read from the Quran every day.
