QUICK LESSONS:
Pay honestly with mutual consent while maintaining good relationships with others when making transactions.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith discusses the permissibility of paying in advance for goods and services. It was narrated by Muhammad bin Abi Al-Mujalid and Ash-Shaibani who said that they used to pay in advance for wheat, barley, oil, and dried grapes. This shows that it is permissible to pay in advance for goods or services as long as the payment is made with mutual consent between both parties. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us to be honest when making transactions with others so that we can maintain good relationships with them. We should also ensure that we are not taken advantage of by others when making such transactions.
