QUICK LESSONS:
Pray five times daily no matter what situation you are facing .

EXPLANATIONS:
Allah has prescribed prayer for Muslims as a way to connect with Him. This prayer is known as Salat in Arabic and it consists of four Rak’ahs when a person is living in one place, two Rak’ahs when travelling and one Rak’ah if there is danger. A Rak’ah is an act of standing, bowing down and prostrating during the prayer. Mustaqarr means living in one place or being settled whereas Safar means travelling from one place to another. Khatra refers to any kind of danger that can be faced by a person such as war or natural disasters like floods or earthquakes. It is important for Muslims to pray five times a day no matter what situation they are facing so that they can stay connected with Allah at all times.
