Be mindful of your religious obligations even when you are away from home.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stayed in the city of Tabuk for twenty days and during this time he shortened the prayer. This is a practice that is allowed in Islam when one is travelling or staying away from home. It is a way to make it easier on those who are travelling or away from home so that they can still fulfill their religious obligations without feeling too burdened by them. This hadith also teaches us about the importance of being mindful of our religious obligations even when we are away from home and not letting them slip due to convenience or comfort.
