Make supplication humbly & sincerely while facing downwards & raising arms so whiteness of armpits can be seen .

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known to have a special way of making supplication for rain. This is known as du’a and is an important part of Islamic prayer. According to the hadith narrated by Anas, the Prophet ﷺ would spread his hands towards the earth with his inner side facing down and he would raise his arms so that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen. This was done as a sign of humility and submission before Allah, asking Him for His mercy in providing rain. It also serves as an example to us on how we should pray when asking Allah for something; with humility and sincerity.

The hadith also teaches us about the importance of prayer in Islam; it is not only done during times of hardship or need but can also be used to ask Allah for blessings such as rain which are essential for life on Earth. We should always remember that all our needs can be fulfilled through prayer if we turn towards Allah with sincere hearts and humble ourselves before Him.
