Abide by Islamic teachings and values when earning income or making a living; Respect all creatures of God; Do not engage in immoral activities for financial gain; Do not practice fortune telling or soothsaying; Avoid any activity that goes against Islamic principles when earning income or making a living; Respect all creatures of God regardless if they are clean or unclean according to Islamic law; Follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding earnings and income generation activities.

This hadith is about the things that are forbidden to earn money from. According to this hadith, Allah's Messenger forbade taking the price of a dog, money earned by prostitution and the earnings of a soothsayer. Dogs are considered unclean animals in Islam and it is not permissible to take money for them. Similarly, prostitution is also prohibited in Islam as it goes against Islamic values and teachings. Lastly, soothsaying or fortune telling is also forbidden as it involves predicting future events which only Allah knows about. Therefore, these three activities are not allowed to be done for earning money according to this hadith.
