Show respect during sermons/lectures

This hadith is about the importance of respect during sermons. It is narrated by Abu al-Zahiriyyah who was in the company of 'Abd Allah b. Busr, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). On one particular Friday, a man came and stepped over the people while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was giving his sermon. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) then said to this man to sit down as he had disturbed and annoyed those present. This hadith teaches us that we should always show respect when attending sermons or lectures and not disturb others around us. We should also remember that our actions have consequences and can affect those around us negatively if we are not careful with our behaviour.
