The Importance of Brevity in Speech

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad commanded his followers to keep their speeches short.

Narrated Ammar ibn Yasir: The Messenger of Allah commanded us to shorten the speeches.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ بِإِقْصَارِ الْخُطَبِ
