Attend obligatory prayers on Fridays

This hadith speaks about the importance of attending the obligatory prayer on Fridays. It is narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr that Prophet Muhammad said that it is obligatory for those who hear the call to attend this prayer. This means that if one hears a call to prayer on Fridays then they must attend and perform this prayer as it has been made mandatory by Allah and His Messenger. The importance of this obligation can be seen in how it was transmitted from a group of narrators from Sufyan and even Qabisah has transmitted it as saying of Prophet Muhammad himself. Thus, we can understand how important this obligation is for Muslims all around the world and should strive to fulfill our duties towards Allah in order to gain His blessings in our lives.
